Malaysian bon vivant Shukri, an ex-advertising executive
with many years in restaurant and fine wine experience, lives
on the beautiful island of Langkawi in a a traditional
Malay House. Shukri is a part-owner of the "Lighthouse Restauran
& Bar" in Pantai Cenang, a semi open-air restaurant,
where you can enjoy Western and Mediterranean cuisine
while
watching the sunset over the sea. A unique cultural experience is to join his famous cooking classes "cook with shuk".
You will
learn how to cook Malay cuisine in the environment and ambience of his
home, a traditional
Malay House, which was re-buildt and furnished with a collection of antiques
from all over the world.
